Emmanuelle Bouretz joined the firm in 2009. She previously practiced with the litigation and arbitration departments of Coudert Brothers (1997-2001) and Herbert Smith LLP (2001-2009) in Paris.

Emmanuelle’s practice focuses on commercial litigation for both French & foreign clients, with regards to corporate matters, including minority/majority shareholder litigation and disputes relating to warranty agreements in M&A transactions.

She is also a recognized expert in financial services and banking litigation (particularly in the area of derivative products) and represents major groups before arbitration tribunals.

In addition, she advises companies with respect to complex banking and financial regulations and their relations with regulatory authorities.

Emmanuelle Bouretz makes sure to address her clients’ requests efficiently and with great responsiveness.

Not only she handles her cases on a day-to-day basis, but she also keeps writing high-level articles, studies and books published in prestigious editors.

Emmanuel Chauvet joined the firm after eight years with the M&A and corporate departments of Slaughter and May (in Paris and London) and Ginestié Paley-Vincent.

Emmanuel focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate intragroup reorganizations for leading French and foreign industrial and services providers. His practice also covers industrial contracts and M&A related litigations.

Emmanuel has developed a specific expertise in the fields of mining regulation and not-for-profit organizations.

Over the years, Emmanuel has developed strong ties with certain foreign firms, especially in Northern Europe and Spain.

He is an adjunct faculty member at the Paris Sciences Po Law School where he teaches commercial contracts.

Pierre Galmiche joined Vivien & Associés in 2025 as a partner in the economic law department.

His expertise encompasses competition law, including antitrust practices and merger control, distribution, consumer protection, and customs matters. He provides advisory and representation services to French and international companies in both advisory and contentious matters before French authorities such as the Competition Authority, DGCCRF, and Customs, as well as European authorities.

He possesses extensive experience in antitrust investigations, follow-on damages claims, and litigation involving restrictive practices. He also assists clients in designing and reviewing distribution networks, ensuring compliance with commercial and advertising practices, particularly in the alcoholic beverages, agrifood, and services sectors.

Prior to joining Vivien & Associés, Pierre held positions in several prominent law firms, where he established a well-recognized practice in economic law.

Regularly, Pierre publishes legal commentary on competition and economic regulation and participates in professional conferences in France and internationally. He is a member of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) and AIDV (International Wine Law Association).
